Find a scientific article/paper that investigates the incidence/prevalence pattern of some infectious disease (it doesn’t have to be a human disease). Summarize the article. Discuss why one sees the observed pattern. Speculate what kind of change to the system could change the observed pattern (even if that change is not biologically realistic).
